    We deliver to the UK, including; the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, and Northern Ireland.

    Unfortunately, at this moment in time, we cannot deliver to the Channel Islands.


    IMPORTANT: Please note that all European services are temporarily suspended due to new customs regulations for exporting goods outside of the UK. We hope to resume normal service soon. Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for the inconvenience.

    We deliver to various European countries including; Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romanic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Ukraine.

    All shipping costs will be calculated automatically at checkout and applied to the total of your order. 


    We are proud to have no minimum order across our entire range of products.


    We offer free delivery on all orders for delivery to the UK Mainland (excluding the Scottish Highlands) over £29.

    Same day dispatch is standard for all in-stock orders placed by 1 pm Monday to Friday. Otherwise, your delivery will be dispatched within one to five working days. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us and we will do our best to prioritise your order.


    We appreciate that no one likes waiting around all day for delivery so we use DPD as our courier across the UK for all orders over £29. They provide you with a one-hour time slot telling you when your goods will be delivered that day.

    This is how it works:

    • Place your order with us and make sure that you provided us with a mobile number or email when you register your account.
    • DPD will send you a text or email on the morning that your order is due to be delivered, providing you with a one-hour window confirming when your goods will be delivered that day, meaning you’re free to plan your day without the worry of missing your pet’s delivery.


    For orders under £29, we use Royal Mail’s Tracked 48 Hour service.

    With this service, you’ll receive text or email notifications on the status of your order, including live tracking through the Royal Mail website.


    As Northern Ireland is not part of the UK mainland, we are unable to offer free delivery for orders over £29 or next day delivery.


    If you have subscribed to our Bottomless Bowl you will receive free delivery on orders over £29.

    You will also receive one-hour time windows from DPD as explained above.


    We offer deliveries on a Saturday at an additional charge of £15.  This will be calculated at the till if you select the Saturday Delivery option.


    A charge of £4.49 will be charged for all deliveries below £29.


    If you are going to be out when your delivery arrives we can request for the courier to leave your parcel in a safe place. Just tell us where you would like us to leave your goods when placing your order on the website (applies to deliveries via DPD only).


    International orders are shipped to Europe using DPD Express, which allows you to track your order.
    Customs authorities may check orders sent by international courier. Please note that we cannot mark orders with any misleading designation designed to avoid the appropriate customs charge.

    You are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, or any other charges associated with the importation of consumer goods to the country you request the goods to be delivered to.

    Whilst we will always endeavour to meet the estimated timescales for delivery it is inevitable that occasionally delays will occur due to circumstances beyond our control.

    Where delivery is delayed we will keep you informed of the progress of your order by either email or telephone and we will seek to find a solution which best suits your needs where possible. Whilst every effort will be made to assist you with a delayed delivery we shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products you have ordered within estimated timescales.


    Here at The Thoughtful Pet Food Store, we endeavour to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We do not use any plastic packaging when packing your orders, instead using paper and cardboard packing materials to protect your purchase.

    For smaller orders, we currently use Express Packs supplied by DPD. These packs are 100% recyclable and we encourage you to dispose of them properly to help us continue with our eco-friendly mission.
