This is then very gently cooked, just enough to make sure that they’re safe to eat and handle, before they’re mixed with other ingredients and cold pressed to form a nutritious and delicious dog food - ensuring the food retains its original nutritional value and locking in great flavours and smells too!
TOO MUCH HEAT DESTROYS MEAT'S GOODNESS
Many pet foods (including other cold pressed foods) use ‘dried meat’ or ‘meat meal’. These are both the same thing - meat, tendons and can include feathers and bone. It’s processed under intense heat and pressure, so a lot of nutrition has been destroyed before it’s even been added to the pet food!
Tribal's Fresh Pressed™ is cooked at low temperatures, so think of it like gently steaming your vegetables rather than boiling them.
